Why I choose to use Essential Oils (and what brand I choose)

I was introduced to essential oils about 2 years ago, and I loved them from the moment I was first introduced to them. I was invited to an essential oil class by my neighbor, and I had nothing else to do that evening, as my husband was working his second job and my oldest was at my parents house, and I was just pregnant with my second child. I had never heard of them before so I went completely open minded. I was amazed at these little bottles of joy! I have used these oils for SO much, from in food, to warding off sickness, and helping my babies when they don't feel good. I haven't had to take my now 16 month old to the dr for sickness in almost a year! Yes, he's been sick, but I helped him with these oils. They can get into your cells and kill viruses, something modern medicine CAN'T do!

Here is a picture of a peppermint leaf, and a magnified peppermint leaf, the small white sacs are the essential oil, to protect the plant from bugs and other outside threats.

Now where exactly do these oils come from? 

There are three ways you can use essential oils, Aromatically, topically, and internally. 

Now, not all oils are safe for internal use. Some are only safe for topical, or aromatic, and sometimes both. We have a really simple way to find out which oils can be used internally, and which ones can't. 

So I went home with a little bottle of Wild orange, that I received free just for goin to the class,  and I used it for heartburn, more energy, anything I could find a use for it!  I then went on a search for other oils and what the difference was. I found myself coming back to the original company I was introduced to. So many things drew me back to this company. They do third party testing, so that there isn't a biased opinion on if the oils come back impure. They made their own standard for their oils, so if the oil doesn't meet their standards, its not released for personal use. 

Now about where their oils come from, now some companies tout about how they own their own farms, or how all their farms are only in the USA, or even all in someone's backyard. My company on the other hand, sources their oils from it's original origins. Where the oil is going to have all the right theraputic compounds. The chemistry of the plant changes depending on where it's grown. With our Co-Impact sourcing, we form partnerships with generational, high-reputation farms who have mastered the art of growing and distilling oils. Since we don't own our farms, we are able to determine the quality. Why is this importnant? If we did own our own farms, what happens if we have a bad crop? We have huge losses, or distributing the oils anyways, and they won't be as good as the oils that were from the good crops, and the oils wouldn't have all the benefits we are used to. 

We pay our farmers 4-10 times MORE than any wholesaler will pay, offering top dollar IF they meet our high standards. Because of the way our oils are sourced, EVERYONE wins; the farmer wins with better profits, and we win because we're getting a premium oil. No one can compete with this sourcing model.
